Patuleia, ou Guerra da Patuleia, é o nome dado à guerra civil entre Cartistas e Setembristas na sequência da Revolução da Maria da Fonte. The war ended with a clear Chartist victory, materialized on 30 June 1847 by the signing of the Gramido Convention, but only after the intervention of foreign military forces under the Quadruple Alliance. The civil war lasted for about eight months, opposing the Chartists to a counter-nature coalition that joined sembrais to miguelistas. It was unleashed in Portugal by the appointment, following the palatial coup of 6 October 1846, known by the Ambush, of a clearly chartered government presided over by Marshal Joao Oliveira and Daun, Duque de Saldanha. Patuleia Patuleia, or War of the Patuleia, is the name given to the civil war between Cartistas and Sebrbristas in the sequence of the Revolution of the Maria of the Source.
